Driver versus ferry port chaos!

Another success for the Hansam Services Courier team on "That" weekend the south of the country ground to a halt.
The job was to be in Luxembourg for 9am on the Monday and the choices available were drying up fast for crossing the dreaded channel into France.
Dover ferry port was full along with the M20, A20 and many other surrounding roads due to bad planning at the border control.
We took the decision to book with eurotunnelfreight hitting the terminal at Folkestone for 2am on the Monday  for a seamless journey through all the controls.

The online booking was extremely quick and easy and with full flexibility to change details at a click with easy checkout. Return emails with full check in and safety instructions were so easy to use especially for the driver to read on a smart phone.

Our small van was dwarfed by the other cargo of big trucks and with this in mind the system of loading seemed to run effortlessly  and with a 30 minute trip you are out the other side and ready to drive the 260 miles to Europe's Investment management centre.
Our vehicle arrived an hour earlier than anticipated in Luxembourg City and with the secure consignment on board it was a quick journey back to Coquelles with another easy process of loading at the terminal. Then it was back into UK with a bang straight into the usual car parking facility called the road network, Google maps traffic reports kept us ahead of any issues on the road and our tracking facility through
Sprint Telematics gave us a visual on the vehicle at all times.

Another "secure courier" job expedited without drama or crisis and managed all the way for a client.
